Slazzer has a wide set of controls, including region of interest, subject scale and position, car shadows, and separate endpoints for upscaling and sky replacement. It costs more per image than Verbier at both volumes below, and its transparent PNG results stop at 10 MP by default.

Questions

Is Verbier cheaper than Slazzer?

At about 1,000 and about 10,000 images a month, yes (prices checked 23 September 2026). Slazzer's pricing FAQ says commercial use needs a top-up or a subscription of at least 300 credits a month.

Can Slazzer return large transparent images?

Its API docs say PNG output goes up to 10 MP by default, with JPG up to 25 MP. Verbier returns transparent WebP or PNG up to 8,192 px on the long side, about 45 MP.

How do I switch from Slazzer to Verbier?

Point your code at POST /v1/cutout with your Verbier key as a Bearer token, and send the photo as image_url or image_b64 in JSON. Add ?raw=1 to get the image file back, or leave it off for JSON with the image base64-encoded. Shadows, backgrounds and cropping are options in the same request, and the first 50 images a month are free.
